it is. joined gw2 again after years. and gave wvw on the eternal bg map a try and while it looked fun at first glance, the flawed mechanics are gettin obvious vry fast. and its is foremost the very BASICS of wvw. siegeweapons are plain and simple completely and utterly useless, unless you need one to open a wall quickly. the handling of some is to say it calm and reasonable: gdm effin annoying Once youāve unlocked Weaponmaster Training in Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure, youāll be able to use elite specialization weapons without the corresponding trait line equipped. Doing map completion of Central Tyria as well as the LWS1 and LWS2 maps like Dry Top and Silverwastes should give you enough hero points to unlock at least 70-80% of one elite specialization. To sum it all up, you don't need worry about not having enough hero points to spend on a utility skill or specialization trait that you may or may not like.
Press Y and go to LFG. Either click āHeart of thorn->Verdant brinkā or āPath or Fire-> Crystal Oasisā and join a group that has āHP trainā on it. These are squads solely dedictated to go through the hero points and get them as a group.

To put some actual numbers behind the "you can always get enough of those", there's currently enough hero/skill points in the game to fully unlock four elite specs (subclasses) with a few spare to start unlocking a fifth. Considering there's only three elite specs in the game right now, there's more than enough for you to change your build around.
