Plan is to modify the 1.4 8V camshaft to be usable because the 1.4 8V cylinder head has slightly bigger valves (usually means better flow = more power). Combustion chamber and piston crown are also differently shaped. My 1.2 8V cylinder head is already ported and flows about 15% more than original so the gain may be minimal though.

Currently driving a Grande Punto Sport 1.4 T-JET, and comming from the Starjet (which looked better in Carribean Orange ) there's a massive difference. This is my 3rd Punto so far, I had a MK2 1.2 16V, then a Grande 1.4 16V, now the T-JET. Got my t-jet from the Fiat dealer with 1800km on it, I've just passed 6500 now. Some pics of the car:

Replacing the control panel because of a 'stiff button' sounds like a load of bull to me, 'hid the fact in has air con because the compressor is shot and costs £600 to replace' more like.

Pro fajnšmekry se vyráběla i přeplňovaná verze T-JET, ale ty se skoro nedají najít (a když, tak s pochybným původem a stavem). Punto evo/Punto 2013 (modernizované grande punto) pak místo 1.4 16V 70 kW nabízí 1.4 MultiAir 77 kW a místo T-JETu 1.4 MultiAir Turbo 99 kW - obojí je ale taky rarita.
