Here you will find some of the best balcony views in the world, looking down over Lauterbrunnen Valley with the âBig 3â in the distance (Eiger, Jungfrau, Monch).
Once you've hiked to Kleine Scheidegg (about 2 1/2 miles) you can take the train from Kleine Scheidegg down to Lauterbrunnen. Another easy lovely hike is from Kleine Scheidegg. Cross the train tracks, and there's an easy hiking path along the tracks to Wengernalp, where you can take the train down to Lauterbrunnen.
From Lauterbrunnen station catch the bus opposite and then it is a 10 minute ride to the falls. The falls and caves were beautiful and dramatic. If on the bus back you get off in Lauterbrunnen town you can then walk to Staumbach waterfall which is about a 15 min walk.

From the train station in Wengen you must walk 5-10 minutes to the cable car to Mannlichen. From Mannlichen you have 3 options. You can return by the same cable car to Wengen. Or you can walk to Kleine Scheidegg 1:45 hrs and return To Grindelwald by train. Or normally you could take a cable car strait from Mannlichen to Grindelwald.
This is a more leisurely day which includes a walk through Lauterbrunnen Valley, a visit to Trummelbach Falls, and some time in lovely Lauterbrunnen.
