Example 2 - deadeye you are able to use a sniper rifle. Again its a choice, the abilities with deadeye are like marking targets for extra crit as a rogue in wow. All classes eventually will unlock 3 simultaneous skill trees to use. You may also use 2 sets of weapons to swap from, each having their own abilities and combos.
D tier: class is dangerous to the player- death is more likely then success. F tier: the class is awful, out classed by every other class- class needs a rework. S tier: Ranger: large kit of damage, pets, strong healing, not totally squishy. Revenant: Same thing as ranger: you can do all roles, its also flashy. A tier:
Citizens of Tyria will be able to make use of one more weapon type per profession sometime in 2024. Each character class can equip a specific selection of weapons by default, which gets expanded with their Elite Class. Coming in the second major update for Guild Wars 2’s Secrets of the Obscure expansion will be the expanded weapon pool. The three new elite specs will be playable in an open beta test from Oct. 26 to 30. The final batch of specializations are for all three of the medium-armor classes. "End Of Dragons" is scheduled
It can be built from the ground up as a true support class. Its urns used as its identity to conjure aspects of Protection, healing and damage. They could take on that role without the need of an elite spec. Unlike Engineer who's healing ability has a few strange kinks ritualist can just be that from the start.
Bunny Thumper is a spec based on old Guild Wars 1 Secondary class, the Warrior. GW1's Warrior is pretty much the grand father of the Soldier archclass which all three Soldier classes in GW2 fall in. GW1 Warrior plus itself is GW2 Warrior pretty much. GW1 Warrior plus Ritualist is the GW2 Guardian.
Catalyst in condi can get "okay" sustain, but Weaver does it better atm in case of sustain I think. Vindicator and Virtuoso have least sustain of the e specs since battle scars and tormenting rune r nerfed. I made a condi vindi build that I had to trash now bc of the tormenting rune and battle scars nerf. 4.
The ebb and flow between using holoforge to build heat, then doing more sword damage while heat dissipates just feels very natural and intuitive, while shaking the way engineer plays up quite a bit. Which is what a good elite spec should do, play well and offer a different playstyle for the class. 17. Kyrbi9.
Most optimized builds tend to use one of the elite specs because the elite spec offers a set of traits or skills or class features that is better than one of the vanilla alternatives. The Dragonhunter traitline has a +10% damage trait and a few of the traps do better DPS than the alternatives, so it gets picked.
