After switching from cruisecontrol to regulator and back (with the little wheel on the steeringwheel) it works perfectly again.. But after a bit of rotating of that little wheel to remove any dust or corrosion (as adviced here) for the last 2 weeks the cruisecontrol works perfectly again.. But most anoying is the horn that doesn't work at all

To flush the whole system do the following: Remove the feed hose before the "T" (under the bonnet) and run the pump for 5-10 seconds. Reconnect the hose to the "T" and disconnect both outlets. Run the pump and observe if both sides give the same amount of water. Reconnect the two hoses to the "T" and disconnect them from the jets.

I wonder if the system will actually restart if the touchscreen icons are used. Press the 'driving' button (the one that looks like a car), use the button on the far left of the new screen to bring up page 2, then press the 'Eco off' icon. The yellow bar should go off, the 'eco off' icon on the top screen should go off, and the stop/start may work.

1 you get fan on certain settings only. This is the resistor gone and johnjohn2 has identified the fix for this above. This is usually (although not always not intermittent and so you will usually lose all other settings over night and they don't come back. 2 you get no fan activity at all.
A few days later the touchscreen (radio, climate controls etc) got stuck on the screen indicating the clutch needs to be pressed. Even when the clutch was pressed and when driving, that screen remained and there was no fan or radio control available. The fans were also not on.

Hi there, i have a 2007 1.6HDi Vtr+ EGS with the factory fitted option of the rear parking sensors. When selecting reverse an audible bleep is heard along with the lcd screen operating to show the reverse parking function is operating, then as you reverse the beeps get faster as you approach an object.
