Personally, I am currently torn on how to paint my Grey Knights. I do like the metallic silver color scheme, but I'm not sure I want to paint a whole army that way. I have kicked around skipping the whole metallic paint altogether and going with a non-metallic grey. Of course, then the model may look too flat so I don't know. In all though There’s a paint specifically called Grey Knights Steel that some people use, I personally use Leadbelcher for my silver, then apply a wash of Drakenhof Nightshade to it afterwards so it achieves a blue steel kinda effect. I haven’t found a tutorial for grey knights anywhere but can I suggest Spray Black Studios videos on YouTube. He hasn’t done grey knights but he’s done some cool grimdark space marines that would cover a lot of techniques (like pigments, oils and enamels etc) that could still work for grey knights just swapping around base colours. First, he starts off with a simple black primer. Next, he fills his pot with Dark Silver and one drop of Transparent Blue. He does over almost the entire model except for the deepest crevices.
